SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL

  • Saline tattoo removal is for permanent makeup and tattoos. It is a salt/saline solution that is tattooed into the skin and causes the process of osmosis, pulling your natural water/salts to the surface lifting the pigment up and out of the skin.

  • A topical numbing agent is applied before and throughout the procedure which can help to reduce or eliminate any pain associated with the procedure.

  • The ingredients are all natural.

Saline, salt, lemon and orange extract.

  • We do NOT perform any cosmetic tattooing on anyone who is pregnant or nursing as a precaution.

  • Laser tattoo removal can be extremely invasive to the skin, especially the brow area. Laser can damage the hair in the brows and cause deep scar tissue making it hard to absorb pigment to be corrected. It also breaks up and is absorbed into the body. Tattoo removal with a laser can also be super expensive and painful.

  • Depending on how dark and saturated your brows are you may need anywhere from 3-5 or 8-12 sessions. Each session is every 8 weeks until the pigment is soft enough to be corrected.

  • Once pigment is soft enough, clients can then be booked for an 8/10week appointment.

REMOVAL AFTERCARE

It usually takes between 7-10 days for the skin to heal. While the skin is healing these aftercare instructions are recommended. Note that the skin will be extremely scabby while healing and it’s critical that clients do not remove or pick at the scabs.

CLEAN

1. Keep the removal area clean, dry and open to the air. Do not cover with anything to ensure a faster healing time. Only touch the area with clean hands.

DAB

2. Dab lightly over the area with saline 3 to 4 times a day using a clean cotton pad or gauze. DO NOT USE ICE.

KEEP THEM DRY

4. Don't soak the removal area in water. You can shower as normal but keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep it dry but if you do get it wet gently pat dry. This includes steam and sweat, so no saunas or steam of any kind, and no sweaty exercise.

DON’T PICK

5. All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimum results.

BE PROTECTIVE

6. Do not do anything to disrupt the healing process.
